Overnight frost has delayed the start of the competition and no decision will be made until at least 9:30am.
If the course is open and frost greens are in play the competition will not count towards the Winter League.

Winter Handicaps
CONGU rules state that handicaps cannot be adjusted if playing a shortened course and/or lifting and dropping the ball in the rough.
As we adjust handicaps to the keep the Winter Competition competitive, these adjustments cannot appear on a members handicap record. So from Saturday 29th October 2011 until the end of the winter league all scores returned will not be uploaded to Golfnet.
At the end of the Winter League all handicaps will revert back to as they were at the end of the summer.

72 Hole Competition
The club would like to know if the members would be interested in playing a 72 hole competition next summer.
Draft formats:
Stroke Competition - played Thursday through to Sunday over a weekend in June. Maximum handicap allowance 10. Members with handicap above 10 can enter but will only get a maximum handicap allowance of 10. Prizes will be awared for lowest nett scores over all four rounds.
Stableford Competition - played Thursday through to Sunday on the same weekend as the stroke competition. Prizes will be awarded for highest points score over all four rounds.
If interested please vote on the right hand side of the screen. If you think this format will not work please vote 'no thanks'.
