Malachy Mullan & Anthony McCullough progressed today to the 2nd round of the Irish Mail All-Ireland Fourball 2011 with a 3&2 win away at City of Belfast.

Due to the delayed start there will be TWO 9 hole courses in operation. 2A and 2B. Each course will run as its own separate comeptition. £2 entry fee and £1 for 2's.

2011 Club Council
At the AGM held in Greenacres Golf Centre on Tuesday 15th March 2011, your council for 2011/2012 was duly elected. A full list Officer and members of the council can be found on the website.

Members Handicap
Members handicap records have been restored back to 31st October 2010 with the exception of those that were adjusted as part of the Annual Review. A full list of these adjustments can be found at: Annual Review.
All subsequent competitions will now appear on your handicap record, and hopefully by the start of April 2011 we will be able to hold qualifying competitions.

Winter League 2010/2011
Unfortunately even after extending the Winter League by two weeks until the 12th March 2011 we still only managed to play 11 weeks, so 7 weeks (11 x 2/3 = 7.3333) will count towards your final score.
If members or teams are tied; prizes will be decided based on the team or members highest 5 scores and then 3 scores if necessary.
Final Results will be posted on the website later.

Annual Matchplay Competitions
Members can now enter the 2011 Matchplay Competitions
Pairs Competition - £5 per person (£10 per pair
Singles Competition - £5 per person
Members are asked to put the entrance fee into an envelope, write their name(s) clearly on the outside of the envelope and place into the Match & Handicap slot of the cabinet.
Important: Members will NOT be entered into the draws if their club fee has not been paid by the closing date.

The Annual General Meeting of Greenacres (Men's) Golf Club will be held in the Golf Centre on Tuesday 15th March 2011 at 7:30 pm.
