Inter Club Competitions
The Ulster Cup and the Ulster Fourball teams both won at the weekend have progressed to the second where they play Blackwood and Narin & Portnoo respectively.
The Belfast & District unfortunately did not progress to the second round and the Holt Shield lost their second of six matches in the competition.
This weekend is the Jimmy Bruen Qualifying at Carindhu.

As Official Partner of the event, BMW has launched a free nationwide golf competition, open to UK golfers, offering the opportunity to win a VIP experience at The Ryder Cup 2014 at Gleneagles, Scotland. All your members need to do is play golf!
To stand a chance of winning the VIP trip, which includes hospitality for the final round of The Ryder Cup, plus dinner and overnight accommodation at Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond, golfers just play a round at your club and record their score on the Golf GameBook app. They simply download the FREE Golf GameBook app on their smartphone (from the App Store, Google Play, Samsung Apps or Blackberry World) and use it as a scorecard.
Every round played until June 8, 2014 counts as an entry into the ‘BMW Road to Gleneagles 2014’ prize draw.
But that is not all – the golf clubs with the most entries are also announced every fortnight and the best scoring players win great prizes presented by Titleist. The golf clubs are posted in the “hall of fame” on the tournament website. Congratulations to two of our members:
Phillip Blackburne scored a Hole-In-One at the 16th hole on 20/04/2014 while taking part in the Sunday Competition
Hugh O'Neill scored a Hole-In-One at the 16th hole on 21/04/2014 while taking part in the Easter Monday Competition
They have both qualified for the H1Club, an exclusive organisation for golfers who have scored a hole-in-one.
All HowDidiDo golfers that score a hole-in-one in a qualifying competition where the score can be verified by the HowDidiDo system will be eligible to receive a special edition H1Club watch from BOSS Watches.
