Tee Time Booking

Match & Handicap are considering moving to an electronic start sheet for the Saturday competitions during the summer. So a competition has been set-up called Tee Time Booking Test with a blank summer start sheet. We would encourage members to book and cancel a tee time using both methods below and leave us feedback via Facebook, Twitter, Email or letter.


Club Computer
To book a tee time
  • Click the button labelled Tee Sheet Booking on the touch screen.
  • Locate your name
  • Select your time slot
  • Click Accept
To cancel a tee time
  • Click the button labelled Tee Sheet Booking on the touch screen.
  • Locate your name
  • Click Delete
On-Line
The start has been published on www.howdidido.co.uk. If you have not used this website before you will be required to register. For members you are already registered you will find the Start Sheet under My Club.

To book a tee time
  • Click the link labelled Start Sheet
  • Click the relevant event
  • Click an available slot
  • To book yourself into the slot click Finish
  • There is also the option to add up 3 Friends to the start sheet *
To cancel a tee time
  • Click the link labelled Start Sheet
  • Click the relevant event
  • Click Remove *

* If you have added 'friends' to the start sheet, you will not be able to remove your booking until you remove their booking.

The first time you try to book a tee time you may be asked for your howdidido verification code which is printed on your handicap certificate. If you do not have a current copy of your handicap certificate, please send a email to mandh@greenacres-golfclub.co.uk and we will send you back your certificate as a PDF.

    An online starting sheet is a great idea. Let's follow this with online booking of tee-times for the rest of the week also!

    Reply: The Golf Centre and the Golf Club are on two separate systems, so it would be up to the Golf Centre to implement on-line start sheets for the rest of the week. Hopefully if they see it working for the club they will follow our example

    Quick question will the format of the howdidido.com summer start sheet be the same as previous years (pre-allocated times) so that members just confirm/cancel allocated tee times or actually book a new time ? (at the moment on the blank starter sheet I can secure any time)

    Reply: As the club computer will be restored from a backup at the end of the Winter League, we did not take the time to enter every sinlge name onto the start sheet for the trial. If this system goes live it will be with pre-allocated start times.
