The Match and Handicap Committee have decide to change the method used to allocate the Order of Merit points for the Golfer of the Year. Instead of the top 20 places in each section getting points, points will be allocated to the top 40 places overall with the overall winner getting 40 points.
Note: Order of Merits points will not be awarded when members are playing different formats (Stroke / Stableford) and / or there is not an individual competition for every member.
